Call for Papers 2010 The Battcon Stationary Battery Conference is calling for papers that address everyday battery applications, technical advances, and industry concerns. Papers should be noncommercial, unique, your own work, not previously published, and of interest to all levels. Each group of 20 minute papers will be followed by a Q&A session. We're always looking for fresh ideas in the fields of battery use, application, and maintenance. Presenters who deliver papers at Battcon receive a $300 discount off the registration fee, and presenting at Battcon lets you experience the conference in a whole new way! Battcon welcomes first time presenters. Our technical committee will critique your paper and coach you into creating a presentation you’ll be proud of. Submit a brief abstract of the paper's main points and conclusions by early February. Send it as a Word file attachment on an email to: Jack Mack, Battcon Publications, at Jack.Mack@alber.com Upon acceptance, submit a final paper by March 1. An author style guide is available. You may submit an abstract on battery use, application, maintenance, or any battery related topic or one of the following categories. All papers are reviewed before being selected.
