For 2010, the Battcon Stationary Battery Conference is at the Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida.

The conference runs Monday through Wednesday, with preconference activities and seminars on Sunday.

Getting There by Air

The closest airport to the hotel (10 miles) is Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL). An alternate airport is Miami International Airport (MIA) at 20 miles. All core conference activities are at the hotel. Hotel valet parking is $25 per night or $18 per night for self parking. (Rates subject to change.)

Ground Transportation Options

Airport to hotel transportation options include car rental, shuttle van and taxi.

Shuttle van cost one way for private car is $45, and a shared ride is $13 with a few stops along the way. You may contact Go Shuttle at (954) 561-8888 or http://goairportshuttle.com for van information. All rates subject to change.

Taxi estimated cost one way is $28.

From Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL)

Exit Ft. Lauderdale airport onto US 1 (Federal Highway) South toward Dania Beach / Hollywood.

Continue south on US 1 about 3¼ miles and turn left (east) onto Sheridan Street (SR 822).

Continue east on Sheridan Street about 1 mile. Road ends at State Road A1A (Ocean Drive).

Turn right (south) onto State Road A1A (Ocean Drive).

Drive south for about 3 miles. The hotel is on the left, before Hallandale Beach Blvd.
