| Hazard Mitigation Analysis (HMA) for an AHJ – Criteria, Process and Methodology | The recent version of NFPA 855 includes a range of BESS requirements and items that need to be submitted to the AHJ including an HMA which helps evaluate BESS safety characteristics and assess its performance. In light of the recent BESS fires, this has become a crucial undertaking to ensure that the BESS design considers all the predictable failure modes and includes mitigating measures. This session will highlight the need for an HMA and discuss the criteria, method and gap analysis that helps understand the process of creating an HMA. | Wednesday July 29th 1 PM – 5 PM |
